Danger: Crimanls use the computer for mostly looking for younger chirldren. I think this is so un safe. Opening spam or advertisers is a way to fall for there tricks. Putting real information on myspaces or facebooks is not the safest thing either.
Prevention: Some prevention tips are to not use real infortmaiton on Myspace or Facebook. Using fake or untrue facts the "criminal" wont be able to find you. Not opening spam nor advertisers helps too. Opening something that says win free cell phone and then filling out the information page is a closer step for the "criminal". Just try to stay away from anything that seems wierd or fishy.

Dangers:Some sites on the internet try to get personal information from children who are surfing the web. Some of this personal information includes names, age, address, or telephone number. This type of information is used to exploit children. This can be avoided by being careful about what you say on the web and not giving this type of information to anyone.

Danger:One thing is that if parents dont watch what their kids are doing online, the could get into trouble, looking or doing things they shouldn't be doing. Thye could find websites and buy things and then you have to pay for the thing they bought. Prevention:Put some kind of security on your computer, or watch or child on the computer at all times. Give them a certain time amount to go on. Or just get rid of the computer, unless you really need it for something. URL is:http://www.protectkids.com/dangers/onlinepred.htm
Danger: Cyberstalking. Because of how easily personal information is accessed, it is easy for some internet stalkers to track down and exploit anyone with internet access. This speaks true, especially for sites like myspace, facebook, etc.
Prevention: NEVER give out any personal information like your full name, your home address, your telephone number or your cell phone number. Even just mentioning the town or city you live in with your name is enough information for someone to track you down.
